Gas accumulators and methanol storage tanks are horizontal and metal vessels for above-ground or underground construction. Gas accumulators are designed to accommodate and store emergency gas reserves in them for gas supply to close valves with pneumatic or hydropneumatic drive, in order to disconnect sections of main gas pipelines in case of emergencies related to gas pipeline depressurization.
