Gas accumulators and storage tanks for methanol are horizontal and metal vessels for aboveground or underground execution. Gas accumulators are designed to accommodate and store emergency gas reserves in them for gas supply to close valves with pneumatic or hydropneumatic drive, in order to disconnect sections of main gas pipelines in case of emergency situations related to the depressurization of the gas pipeline.
